Ethics CLE Lunch: Engage Workspace for Lawyers

DALLAS, Texas – Engage Workspace for Lawyers announces that it is hosting an Ethics CLE on February 8, 2024 at its Dallas co-working office space.  Attendees will earn 60-minutes of Ethics CLE credit, and complimentary lunch will be provided. 

Presenting the CLE is Attorney Carrie Phaneuf of Cobb Martinez Woodward PLLC.  Carrie will conduct a presentation on the ethics of practicing law remotely.  The content and discussion will cover:

  • guidance on incorporating technology into your practice

  • navigating the challenges of practicing in different states

  • avoiding the unauthorized practice of law

Speaker - Carrie Phaneuf, of Cobb Martinez Woodward PLLC

Carrie has twice been recognized as one of the top 50 women attorneys in Texas by Thomson Reuters in 2019 and 2020. She has also been named to “D” Magazine Best Lawyers in Dallas in 2014, 2016-2022; Texas Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters, 2013-2021; and “The Best Lawyers in America” by BL Rankings in Professional Malpractice Law-Defendants, 2021-2022. Carrie is also a board member of Texas Lawyers’ Insurance Exchange, an advisory board member of both the Perot Museum in Dallas and the University of Texas College of Liberal Arts, and is a member of the Hockaday Alumnae Association and Hockaday Parents’ Association. Carrie has been married for 25 years to her husband, Marshall, and they have two girls ages 18 and 21.
